CHARACTER LORE
The Main Character Club was born from a simple but impactful dream, that every woman deserves to move through their realm as the lead in her own story, not the forgotten side character or the extra in someone else's.
Since 2023 we've grown from solo photoshoots across Scotland into a full events calendar, four major experiences, five more on the horizon in 2026, and The Armoury, a digital community of 900+ women around the world who have chosen to live a little more intentionally.
We've been lovingly titled a “fun cult” (no blood sacrifices, we swear!) Members have left our events and gotten matching tattoos (okay that sounds like a blood sacrifice) and our totem animal is a duck. If you know, you know.
The world of MCC feels like the pages of your favourite books, or the scenes from your comfort films. “Soldier, poet, king” is the anthem of our realm & both Hozier & Florence are our patron saints. If these vibes scratch something in your brain, consider yourself officially initiated.
MCC was built from a sprinkle of curiosity and joy. But it has grown because of this community, women who took our ethos, made it their own, and carried it with them wherever they go. Every event we build, every experience we create, is shaped by them.
This is their story as much as it is ours.
MEET OUR DIRECTOR,
I moved from Australia to Scotland in 2020 after a decision to re-write my own story. I was living on auto-pilot & had accepted my fate… until fate had something else in store for me.
The move to Scotland drastically changed my life & the MCC was born as a result of that choice.
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined this was my new reality.
I’m extremely passionate about bringing women together, supporting Scottish businesses & heritage sites, romanticising my life & of course, seeing women step into their MC eras.
