Welcome to the Armoury

100 women just joined our online community. Welcome to the Armoury!

Last weekend, the Armoury opened its doors to new members for the first time in 3 months, and the response blew us away. Over the weekend, we welcomed 100 new members into Main Character Club's online community for women.

To everyone who joined, welcome. We're so glad you're here. And to everyone who's been with us a while, thank you for making the new faces feel so at home. The welcome threads were a joy to read!

What is the Armoury?

For anyone new to Main Character Club, the Armoury is our online community, our digital realm. It's where our members come together between events, wherever they are and whatever's going on in their lives.

A lot of women first find us through a fantasy photoshoot or one of our events. But a single day or weekend can only do so much. The Armoury is where the real work of building confidence happens. It's the everyday stuff, like posting a photo you'd normally keep to yourself or sharing a small win that nobody else in your life would quite understand.

Inside, members have access to a private digital portal with monthly workshops, book club meetings, and early access to events (plus a whole bunch more!). But ask most of them what they value most and they won't point to any of that. They'll tell you it's the people.

Why a supportive community for women matters

Plenty of women come to Main Character Club because they've spent years feeling like a supporting character in their own lives. Maybe they've been busy looking after everyone else. Maybe they've just lost touch with who they are outside of work and family. Whatever brought them here, the Armoury gives them somewhere to reconnect with themselves, surrounded by women who get it.

There's no judgement in the Armoury and no pressure to perform. Nobody expects you to have it all figured out. Some members post every day. Others quietly read along for weeks before they feel ready to say hello, and that's completely fine too.

What we see again and again is that confidence grows when women feel supported. It doesn't happen overnight, but it happens steadily.

Why we only open the doors occasionally

We keep the Armoury closed to new members most of the time, and that's a deliberate choice. Opening in small windows means new members join together and settle in together. It gives us time to welcome everyone properly and helps the community keep its warm, close-knit feel as it grows.

Missed out this time?

If you didn't manage to join this weekend, don't worry. The doors will open again, and the best way to make sure you don't miss it is to join the waitlist. You'll be the first to hear when the Armoury opens next.

We can't wait to welcome you in.
