Terms & Conditions Journey to Highreach

By confirming your place on Journey to Highreach, you agree to the following terms.

1. What's Included

Your place on Journey to Highreach is fully gifted and covers:

• Coach transportation with MacBackpackers Tours

• Accommodation at Glencruitten House (27–29th)

• Breakfast, lunch & dinner throughout

• Access to all planned activities, experiences & gameplay

• Whisky tasting session

Alcohol beyond what is included in scheduled tastings is at your own cost.

2. Transportation

Coach travel is provided by MacBackpackers Tours. Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the coach departure point, including any associated costs.

We strongly recommend arriving with plenty of time before departure. Journey to Highreach is not responsible for missed departures due to personal travel delays.

3. Activities & Participation

Journey to Highreach includes a range of activities that carry an inherent level of physical risk. These include:

• Exploring ruins & historic sites

• Museum visits

• Hill walking & uneven terrain

• Whisky tasting

• DnD gameplay sessions

Participation in all activities is voluntary. Guests are responsible for assessing their own fitness and health prior to joining any activity, and must follow all safety guidance provided by our team at all times.

Journey to Highreach shall not be liable for injuries or accidents except in cases of gross negligence.

4. Photography & Filming

By attending Journey to Highreach, you consent to being photographed and filmed throughout the experience. This content may be used for promotional purposes including social media, our website, and print materials for future tours.

If you have specific concerns, please raise them with the team prior to departure.

5. Code of Conduct

All guests are expected to treat fellow adventurers, staff, and venues with respect. Any behaviour that disrupts the experience or creates an unsafe environment may result in removal from the tour.

Zero tolerance applies to bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.

6. No Drugs Policy

The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited throughout the entirety of Journey to Highreach. Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the tour.

7. Schedule

The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, venue access, or other circumstances outside our control. Where changes are necessary, we'll do our best to offer alternatives of equal quality.

8. Emergency Contact

All guests must provide an emergency contact prior to departure. This will only be used in the event of an emergency.

Journey to Highreach is a themed immersive experience designed for entertainment and community. Participation does not result in any formal qualification or academic credit.
