One Side Quest Led to the Next
If you've ever stopped scrolling at an MCC post and felt something, there's a good chance Vain Virgo had a hand in it. She's MCC's social media manager and works closely with Gabby to bring her vision to life.
As she puts it, "Everything you see on their socials, I've probably shed a tear or two while creating it."
It started with a photograph
Vain first fell in love with Gabby's photography style. The idea of becoming the main character of your own life, and the way Gabby brought it to life, really stuck with her.
Then, in her words, "one side quest led to the next." She modelled for MCC, became a House Leader at a Main Character University retreat and is now the club's self-described "social media goblin".
A little help that turned into something bigger
Vain started in the very first week of January 2026. The plan was a bit of help here and there, just to see where the adventure would go.
It turned out the community was craving some MCC whimsy. Vain quickly doubled MCC's social media presence. "Felt like a dream really."
What made her want to be part of MCC was seeing the impact on women first hand. She saw how beautiful they feel during their photoshoot and how seen they are when they share their MC moment.
"It healed something in me," she says. She realised how happy it would make her to keep helping women find a community that lifts them into "their happiest most whimsical version of themselves."
Cool, capable women
Ask Vain what makes MCC different from other places she's worked and she sums it up as "cool, badass, capable women coming together to make sh*t happen." What's not to love?
Working alongside so many women has changed how she sees herself too. "I've learned to appreciate my softness more." It's made her appreciate how multifaceted women are.
She learns from the women in her life every day, but Gabby has inspired her many times. "When this woman believes in you, you have no other choice but to believe in yourself."
